The Love That Reunited

A 70 old former Indian diplomat has married yesterday to one 59 years old divorcee -  The Statesman informed me today with a morning cup of tea. They started to live together happily with the gentleman's only daughter. The report may be read in between the lines that the lady married to one pilot and settled in Canada leaving his fiancee unmarried for 20 years in India. The gentleman patiently waited almost his entire life and did not turn up to other ladies. After 20 years, the reunion took place in the form of a sweet marriage in a simple manner in Delhi.

What transpires from the report that ladies often become indecisive in matter of love and fall in trap of immediate gains to be apparently happy. In the process, they neither can make their present lives happy nor they can forget their past and hence unhappiness prevails throughout prime time of their lives. They often attempt to turn back when their present becomes intolerable and passionately desires to go back to the lives they left as half destroyed. Most fails to translate the old age passion into reality, except the lady like Archana Mohan. God bless them.

The Isolated Maoists

The enemy's enemy is the friend. The war strategy has so long been followed among the warriors - the Maoists are no separated lot. They also follow the same strategy for ages in India in order to ensuring organisational growth in the states of the country. Sometime they render tacit support for Congress or sometime for non-Congress political outfits to ensure their survival in the political map of the country.

Bengal's case has now backfired. Once friend becomes foe. The orthodox strategy failed to yield result this time; it rather becomes counter productive. Bengal new ruling party is not agreeable to allow the Maoists to continue their killing spree in the name of annihilation of the class enemies.

The Maoists brand of armed political outfit adopted line for political uprising through protracted armed struggle with the participation of armed squads in Chinese way. They remain ardent followers of the erstwhile Chinese political supremo who is dead. But his overseas strategy to create disturbance in India religiously followed by his successors despite difference on domestic political and economical strategy in China.

The poorest of the poor in districts of western plateau in West Bengal have of late recognised narrow politics of selling poverty of Tribal people. They realised that they have also equal right to live like human. They require roads, drinking water, food, jobs and other essentials what politics of extremism so far denied them.

With the emergence of new leadership in Kolkata, the people of all walks in the Bengali or Tribal society eagerly waits for something positive to happen for development cause. The people are not in a position to fall in trap of negative and destructive politics for so called Maoism or anything else. The very recent rejection of the Maoists strike call by the local people is evident. Let the troubleshooters take rest for some years. Its now turn for the great masses of the people. So, bye bye Maoists.

The Stone That Rolls Again

Tonight I may sleep with peace of mind for so many friends of mine heartily welcomed me to my workplace in the morning after long interval for my absence owing to my hospitlization for mild cerebral stroke. Its my doctors didn't prefer for early resumption of office work, but I forced to do it. In fact, I could not stay long unproductive at home just sleeping and eating etc. Stepping out of my home and asking my driver to take me to office has been felt today very normal. Now lot of my colleagues want me to share the days I suffered as patient. But I would like not to go back to those boring days and would much like to go ahead and ride on the rolling stone to venture many things undone.

The Bedridden Blogger

September the 3rd, this blog writer fallen sick for mild cerebral stroke and admitted to R N Tagore Heart Hospital in Kolkata. On discharge from the hospital, everybody suggested number of things restricting my normal movement and ways of life including smoking cigarette. But why I was hit with a stroke may be for non consumption  of tablets to restrict high blood pressure for 3/4 days for reason of taking vigorous care to my hospitalized wife. My wife undergone knee operation in Apollo hospital in the city. Some said it was for carrying over unnecessary tension that led to trauma and ultimately cerebral attack. I dont know except I was admitted in hospital in full sense and thats all. Now I am confined in my home with medicare etc. Lot of my friends and relatives visited me and expressed their good wishes for my early recovery. I am thankful to them. I wish God to be kind enough  and shower blessing to them.

Anna the torch bearer for new civilisation

May I now ask the idiots those who undermined Anna Hajare and his movement against corruption and why malicious campaigns were organised against his fast unto death? What should now those arrogant people say after watching excellent debate on TV in Parliament on the issue and unanimous resolutions in both lower and upper houses? Why not now they should condemn all the Parliamentarians across the party affiliations for supporting Anna Hajara? I know those stupids have no convincing answer. Because the today's world didn't see what they heard of Mahatma Gandhi long back on Satyagraha and non-violent movements include fast unto death. The present generation is only habituated to hear the sound of guns and bombs as a form of protest. To them, the Gandhi was nothing but a Tamasha and so the Gandhian ways of expressing dissents. It was unbelievable to them that a peaceful movement through self sacrifices could garner support of the supreme power house of a country. A new history for 21st century civilization has been written by the great Anna and his millions of followers. The human values and virtues lost in the ages of technological revolution, imperialism, monopoly or corporate capitalism are likely to reborn in this new age of civilisation. And Anna is an angel for a social change. We are all grateful that we born in the age of Anna Hajare.

Anna For Idiots

In response to an Independence greeting by one of my friends, I replied, " Anna Ramdev Sacchi Hai, Aur Ye Azadi Jhuta Hai". He bulldozed my feeling and abused me, "Anna Ramdev Pakhandi Aur Dhongi Hai, Bakwas Hai". The gentleman looks like a lizard that changes its colour from time to time. Once he was an ardent supporter of the then ruling party BJP and its leader Atal Behari ji and was a staunch opponent of Sonia Congress and its allies those were 'Faltus', according to him. Now the same man has become a faithful to Sonia Congress as if prices of essential commodities are stabilized, corruption is vanished, elected representatives have become Sadhus and Fakirs, the nation is reborn under 'satyayug' under the leadership of Monmohan ji. Keya baat, Keya baat. But my countrymen refused to go by those 'yes men' of the ruling class. In total discomfort to the sort of faithfuls, the people of India across the nation have risen to the occasion and bulldozed the evil desires of the power greedy persons and forced them to bow down to Anna and his followers by coming to terms convenient to the Mahatma and not a 'Pakhandi'. Now some people started realizing their misconception and looking at Anna afresh in the national interests. But I dont resist myself to conclude with, "Gaddha usse kahlata hai, jo saf pani gandha karke pite hai".

SAY NO TO KILL

"A simple question that haunts me a lot and perplex me all the time in my leisure. Is it the savage instinct that leads to kill a person or an animal only for the flesh or fest? I tried hard to understand the supreme value and enormous dignity of BLOOD, or it is an ordinary liquid connective tissue like skin and bones that works physiologically. To find the question, certain creative and pertinent questions come to my mind one after another? For an example, harmless deer is killed by the mighty tiger or lion everyday. The flesh of the deer wards off the hunger of the tigers. The theories are simple here as the survival of the fittest and mighty food chains. But in human society where the relation between a man and its genetic cousin is not like the predator and prey. In the jungle, might is the right but in human society, everything is possible and justified! Killing a man or men and hush up all evidences or documents is fair to the law enforcing agency. But in the light of humanity it is a crime. Then what is the fundamental difference between a man and an animal? Although man is also an animal (social).

However Man, who only can judge in the ultimate sense. Now come to the thousand dollar question. Question is why not a hang man or a terminal executioner is a killer in terms of the law? A man who killed a man is called a killer and also having all the proofs, evidences and documents of committing a homicide in cold blood, is not a killer. Often in a war field where a soldier kills his fellow army man of the opposite side. Who the man to give a death sentence or the directives to kill a man of this kind? Is it the verdict of the God, the nation, the government or the judiciary or bureaucratic system of the mankind? There is no respect and dignity for the supreme liquid and a beautiful gift of God called lives .

Similarly, for the reason of your ‘self-defence’, you could kill or perish a man, is not a killing? Even under the pretext of saving your own life. A killing is a killing whether it is an abatement of suicide, homicide, genocide or a judicial killing.

When you can’t create a life, then who has given you the right to kill a man. A death is for what? For the sake of the Holy Grail, we all have to preserve blood, honour blood; otherwise no one can survive and escape on the Judgment day. Lets pray to God for a decent life and a graceful death."
